Kids building robots at my alma mater, P.S 161, inspired the design for Eclectic, as did Song For A Future Generation sung by The B-52s. 
“This will show The South Bronx is not no good for nothing,” said a little African-American inventor using a double negative to a WPIX Channel 11 News reporter. In time, they will upgrade androids with AI or amazing imagination and prove, once again, that truth is stranger than science fiction.
